Classic Step Through Electric Bike

Love the bike so much

The bike looks lovely, but it didn’t come with any instructions on how to assemble it. No video on the website or anywhere online I could find. It wasn’t too complicated, but when I’d finished there were screws and tools I hadn’t found a use for. I took it out for a ride and the seat wouldn’t stay in place and kept sinking. None of the tools are correct for tightening the seat. The pole the seat is on was so close to the ground it was dangerous to ride over any bumps. So I’m going to take it to a local bike shop to see if they can help me. I hope once I’ve got it working I’ll love it, but can’t give a great review right now sadly. Needs very clear assembly instructions for those of us who aren’t very clever!

I like the Mycle classic very much but the delivery was slow, the instructions for assembly assumed far more knowledge than I had, the handbook needs updating. No back light!!

I was looking for an e bike that didn’t break the bank and would give me a little independence as I have a back issue where the impact of walking causes severe pain. I went and trialled a couple of e bikes from a local bike shop to see what style suited me. I then shopped around online and stumbled across Mycle. The reviews were all impressive so I decided to take the plunge and purchased the classic in white. My bike arrived a week later. Some parts were a little fiddly to put together for a noob like me, but with the help of my hubby my bike was soon ready to ride! There were a couple of issues which I contacted Mycle about and they were amazing! Their communication was fast and really efficient, everything was happy and done with a smile and they sorted the issues with no fuss! I cannot fault their customer service at all. The bike itself rides like a dream, and I get a lot of comments about how pretty she is! The basket and back rack are useful for parcels and groceries, the 5 assist levels and 7 gears are ample for where I live and get me around with ease. I cycle approx 5 miles a day and my battery lasts pretty much the whole week… I generally keep the assist at 2 or 3 for the flattish areas, 5 to pull off when crossing a road or going up hill. The seat is big and comfy which is great as I am a bigger girl with a large derrière 🍑 so smaller seats are like razor blades for me. If I had to mark this bike out of 10, it would be a definite 10… it suits my needs perfectly!

Sixty years since I last rode! It's ok though as I had support all the way along from Henry, from choosing the bike to putting the final touches to it. It's a bit 'old fashioned' is the Classic (well so it should be with that name) and fact its a 'sit up an beg' bike but it fits me perfectly and I cant wait to go further at the weekend:) The email contact has been great. Had a wee problem at the start with the saddle slipping down. As my son had the right tool he was able to tighten it. So far just a couple of trips to the shop & my daily visit to my wife’s grave. Looking forward to longer excursions in the summer.

This is a very affordable electric bike with a slick design. It helps me get up the many hills of Brighton in style. Some effort is required for really steep hills, but overall, that hasn't been a problem.
